HAPPY HARI RAYA / EID MUBARAK ! <3 Many many happy returns of the day, everybody :)
OKAY, woke up at like SIX AM. My god! And then, had to iron my clothes, get ready and all. Then had to rush to the mosque. But we realized that we were too late and had to wait for the 9.30 prayers. And it was so hot and stuffy in the mosque. Quite smelly too :P heehee. sorry. Oh yeah, saw Adeena at the mosque. And her mom came and met us all. Her mom's really nice :) LOL. Then right after prayers, went straight back home .... my sister burnt her clothes with the iron accidentally. Parents were SO ANGRY. After that went to Talat aunty's house.
I've made a discovery. If you spell Talat backwards, its still TALAT. gahahahhaha! lawl. Cool, eh ? Yeah, and lots of people came to her house for brunch. Food was good. Took pictures with Anna and Maha. Then, went back home, put on the OFFICIAL eid clothes. Which are like real nice. Turquoise, silver embroidery and pearls and all :D I wore at Kami Mamoo's Valima last . Superrr nice . so yeah . Then went to like this HUGEEEE LUNCH at Tanglin Mall. At Yantra. Gosh, expensiveeee restaurant. Some top chef from London once did a show there and it came on the Asian Food Channel. Anyway, people who had invited us had booked the entire restaurant for the duration of the party cuz there were sooo many people there. like a hundred? Must've cost a bomb but the group of people who hosted the party are all quite wealthy so should not be a problem :) hehe. Food was awesome ;) But it was really noisy in there. With music and people. And all the people wore REAL nice clothes. Suchhh a hi-fi party. Met Abrar Uncle, Insi Khala, Imran, Ali, Maria, Rubab aunty, asad, mohsin, Maha aunty, Imran uncle, etc etc etc. I knew quite some people there. Maha aunty and her husband, imran , were one of the couples who hosted the party. And trust me, they're real rich. I've been to their house, SMASHING APARTMENT. Hahaha! And Insi Khala and Abrar uncle are Sara's aunt and uncle. they're practically like family to me. And Rubab aunty, I've known her since like... FOREVER? Hahaha! So yeah, party was AWESOMMMEEEEEE :) And AT LEAST, I GOT THIRTY BUCKS OUT OF THAT PARTY. Unlike the next party I went to . UGHHHH.
After that, went to visit Beenish baji and Asim bhai. They're like my second cousins. and they've got this really cute baby born on 9 August which is Singapore's birthday. Yeahhh. His name's Saani but they all call him Sonny. GAHAHAH. Cutie pie. And errr, THEY DIDNT GIVE US MONEY TOO, THOUGH WE GAVE THEM MONEY. Gosh, people nowadays :P And they had a few of their friends over too. And her woman friend has this really pretty daughter. she looks like an English doll. Her names Aliah. I don't know how to spell it but yeahhh. Oooh and Beenish baji baked brownies and tarts. So yummmmyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy <3<3
then came the night party. Only good thing : I MET NEHA. She left for Dubai like 3 years back. And she's been back in Singapore for like 2 months and now I finally met her! HAHAH. Yay. Spent the whole time talking to her so it was quite okay. And I talked to Anum on the phone too. after like 2 years. She left for Miami. Sad Sad. But omg, what i'm really pissed about it, WE COULD ZILCHHHH CASH. I mean seriously, so many of mom and dad's friends were there but no one gave us anything, ughhh. But I have a theory about that. I think its cuz it would've been wierd to just give us cash then all the other kids would ask for it too so yeahh. I hope you get what I mean. Anyway, still, I'm pissed. I wasted so much time , and didnt get paid for it. Oh god, I sound like some prostit... never mind, won't write it. HAHAHA. Joking.
Back home now. oh yes, talked to beelu bhai and atu bhai on skype yesterday. Awesome muchhh.
